Lots of Phalaropes including RED-NECKED PHALAROPES. SPOTTED SANDPIPER on the
right side of the the causeway as I was leaving.

On the way to Garr ranch at the spot where there is a pullout very close to
each other on opposite sides of the road, there was an owl burrow being
guarded by NINE burrowing owls.

At Garr Ranch (early--followed the ranger in) there were lots of VIREOS and
with the vireos was a TOWNSEND'S WARBLER. And, if you combine all three
pictures I took of him, it makes one complete bird (that's as close as I've
come so far to getting a photo). Also, there was an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER,
WESTERN TANAGER, SAY'S PHOEBE and the flycatchers already mentioned in the
Beyers' report.

Other birds: BREWER'S SPARROWS, CHIPPING SPARROWS, WESTERN TANAGER,
"SHORT-BILLED" CURLEWS, LONG-BILLED CURLEWS, WESTERN SANDPIPERS(I
think--hard to identify as they were sleeping in the bright early morning
sun).
