Folks,
Reed Stone and I were chatting the other evening and we both agreed that it
would be a pleasant endeavor to make a trip to the Uintahs, and to Mirror
Lake in particular. The target birds will be American Three-toed
Woodpeckers, Pine Grosbeak, Gray Jay and Clark’s Nutcracker. Plus other
birds in that area.
Anyone interested may join us. We will meet at the Provo Canyon Park & Ride
(at the mouth of Provo Canyon) at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, August 8th, . However,
if you are coming from Salt Lake, and wish to do so, we will meet you in
Kamas at the Ranger’s Station, on the main drag (Mirror Lake Hwy)—across the
street from the Chevron Station, at 7 a.m.
Everyone is invited!
Glenn Barlow
