I have heard two Broad-tailed Hummingbirds on the east side of the Salt Lake Valley this week, which I found odd. They are usually all still in the mountains at this time of year. Maybe the cold weather convinced some to stay at lower elevations than usual. I think it's still a bit early for southbound hummer migration. Carol G.
