[Birdnet] Shorebirds

I did a circuit of Davis County yesterday. Glover Ponds were quiet; a
family of Pied-billed Grebes pretty much had the main pond to
themselves. On the Antelope Island Causeway, there was a huge flock of
sandpipers at mile marker 5. The flock was mainly Baird's and Westerns,
with a few Least sprinkled in. There could have been others; some were
quite a ways out. Also on the causeway were the usual phalaropes,
Franklin's Gulls, Avocets, Stilts, and Eared Grebes. I didn't spend
much time on the island itself. There were a lot of spiders around the
visitor's center for the arachnid lovers out there. I spent a few
minutes at the GSL Shorelands Preserve, and snipe were winnowing
everywhere. The boardwalk leading to the spiral-shaped display area had
lots and lots of Marsh Wrens. Nothing really unusual anywhere; things
were rather slow overall.
