Thanks for all the input on the Yellow-breasted Chat. I now feel more
stupid. I did not spot the white around the eyes. Nor the submoustchial
stripe, or is that a malar stripe of white?
Thank you! We are looking forward TO BIRDING IN Utah more!

My wife and I saw a bird in 9 Mile Canyon in Utah last weekend that we
cannot identify. Yellow-throated Vireo was considered, but we did not see
wing bars, and it is reportedly not in Utah. Any ideas?

We were visiting our son in Salt Lake City and he took us to see
petroglyphs. They were very nice! We were also looking over a lot we bought
for later.
