Either none of the other 3,000 birders in Francis today posted, or my
e-mail program is goofy. So if everyone now has loads of posts for
today,  here's yet another one.

There were still numerous Evening Grosbeaks and Cedar Waxwings present
on Lower River Road in Francis today. I didn't see anywhere near the
hundreds that were reported earlier in the week, but there were still
quite a few - maybe 50 or more at about 1 p.m. Females far outnumbered
males in the group I was watching.  Cedar Waxwings were everywhere;
didn't see any Bohemians. A lone Pine Siskin also came in to visit. It
was a gorgeous day up there - 30's with no wind. Perfect.
