Hello,
Well I tried to send in an e-mail last night with a picture attached but it must not have worked since I do not see it posted today. I am not a computer guru but if you wish to see pictures I can try to forward them to anyone or you can hit my dad Arnold Smith up about them.

My dad, wife, 4 month old son (we are trying to raise him in the birding tradition) and I went to Huntsville in search of the Crossbills and were not disappointed. Both species of Crossbills were in nearly every tree in the park. We even found 4 White-winged Crossbills feeding on the ground. It was a lot of fun until a herd of elementary students terrorized us and the park, (the school is right next to the park.)

Here is a list of all the birds seen on our adventure.

Canada Goose

Mallard

Common Goldeneye

Wild Turkey

Bald Eagle

Ring-billed Gull

Rock Pigeon

Eurasian Collared Dove

Northern Flicker

Black-billed Magpie

American Robin

European Starling

Dark-eyed Junco

Red-winged Blackbird

House Finch

Red Crossbill

White-winged Crossbill

Pine Siskin

House Sparrow
