Dick Hurren just called and told me he and Dorothy saw crossbills up in the
top of the row of spruces as you turn from the road from Paradise into
Avon.

I believe this is 11000 South.

He says they are at the top of the trees where the cones are hanging.

They saw 8-10 crossbills along with goldfinches and pine siskins.
