[Birdnet] Off topic - bats

On the way from Capital Reef NP to Bryce Canyon NP, I stopped in Dixie Nat. Forest about 20 miles from Capital Reef at about 5,500 ft.  In a clearing surrounded by pines and aspen, a small bat (brown of course) flew slowly towards me, then turned and flew among the trees again.  It was bright sunshine. I was surprised at how slowly it was flying.
 
Anyone have any idea what species it could be?
