[Birdnet] My very last non-bird-report "musing"

I sincerely appreciate receiving almost 20 responses to my query regarding musings vs. straight bird sighting reports. I know that there are two ways to communicate bird-related things to this site, but I wonder how often people go ONLY to Bird Talk just to chat about birds. The fact that both BirdNet and BirdTalk are combined make it easy for anyone and everyone to just go there to report anything at all, but it also makes for confusing and, to some, irritating situations. It still confuses ME. I've been told to do about half-a-dozen different things when I want to "muse" (nothing mean-spirited at all) and so I guess I'll just stop doing it. I'm not angry, just very, very unclear on the whole thing. I'll use the site to report sightings ONLY from now on.
Thanks.
David Jensen
P.S. No need for anyone to respond to this
