[Birdnet] My 2 cents re starlings (and then robins)

I don't like them and wish they'd go away. But there they are. I stood at the bus stop today and watched as a pair chased each other around from tree to tree and I tried to make peace with them. Everything's gotta live. Well, yeah. But I'd still like to get my hands on the dope who brought them to this continent.
Robins: the birds most birders barely look thoroughly at any more. I've taken to watching them intently whenever I run into them (every 10 seconds). I love the big fat things. One of my favorite sounds in breeding season is the sound of their song at dawn. Wow. Never fails to make me feel "normal" amid all the world's insanities.
I tried this little quiz out on a birding friend of mine in Oregon: What is the one robin field mark most people don't pay attention to much, if at all, any more? I won't make anyone who's reading this wait for the answer - it's the white outer tail feather tips you see, most often when they fly.
Is there anyone out there who HATES robins? I couldn't imagine why.
Sorry for the musings - just in the mood.
