Willets and Franklin's Gulls were the new birds of the year for me 
along the Antelope Island Causeway today. At Glover Ponds in 
Farmington, there was a fly-by Black-necked Stilt, also a first for the 
year. The Peregrine Falcon was in the box at the Joseph Smith Memorial 
Bldg. in downtown Salt Lake, and a Cooper's Hawk flew over my head as I 
walked a trail by Red Butte stream, southeast of the U. of U.
