[Birdnet] Crow/Corvid

To any and all birders,

jimure loves corvids, as do I, so I offered him a look at my video, some 
pro and some I took.   Then I realized I had not put them on DVD yet so I 
started last night and should have a completed DVD soon.   I would gladly donate 
a copy to Birdnet, SLC Birders, etc.   Just tell me where to send it.


I moved here from Glendale, Ca in 2002 where I had a back yard full of 
crows, many ravens around the n-hood, as well as red tails.  I can't tell you 
what chickens the crows were about coming down from the trees to take peanuts 
off my garage roof when their scrub jay cousins were always around. 
I worked on them for weeks while the scrubs and squirrels were taking them 
out of my hand.  (I never saw magpie at home but my quarterly visits here 
since 1975 made up for that and I had to go to higher mountains for Blue, 
Stellar, Pinyon, and have yet to see a Clarks Nutcracker)  I have video of all 
the above as well as ravens harrassing the red tailed hawk in the most 
amazing flight acrobatics, right over my yard.

PS - In 2002 I was lucky enough to visit the Tower of London and video tape 
the most royal raven of all who is a celebrity and knows it.  
      Their royal strut and air of superiority is so obvious it was worth 
the exorbitant price of admission to get on tape.
