[Birdnet] fwd: White-winged Crossbill's

I just talked to Jeff Bilsky who is near Guardsman's Pass and reported seeing at least 5 WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILL feeding in the trees to the west of the pass with siskin and Red Crossbills.  Last week I had two flying over at Jupiter Peak in the same area. 

It will be interesting to see what happens this winter, and if these birds will end up in the valleys at feeders or will disperse further south.  It has been an interesting summer for these birds in the Wasatch and Uinta's, definitely the most prosperous summer I can remember.
