Birders,
After the rain finally stopped and the clouds lifted, my wife and I decided to drive around the Provo airport dike yesterday and look for late migrants. We totaled 44 species in two hours including two Purple Martins, five Forster's Terns and one Common Nighthawk. There were at least four dozen Yellow-rumped Warblers and 2-3 dozen Chipping Sparrows plus the usual many Yellow-headed and Red-wing Blackbirds.
