Here is a nother case of the probelms with having 7 completely disconnected listservs for the state of Utah (it doesn't get any clearer).

I just received a phone call from The Sommerfeld's who are in Santa Clara at the moment looking at a LAWRENCE'S GOLDFINCH. The birds ere reported earlier this week on the [redcliffs] listserv, but not the state list. Here is the message that was posted there...
They are here again.......

Just had a call from R.J. Hughes. He saw Lawrence's Goldfinches at his feeder the past two days.
R.J. lives just east of Jacob Hamblin's historic home in Santa Clara on that back road. That area has always been a great place for neat birds.-------------------------------------------------------------So for anyone who is still in need of this rarity for their state list, may want to head down this weekend. Apparently there have been 2 birds present for several days... The Sommerfelds said that they can see the Jocob Hamlin Home from where they are viewing the bird. Although they didn't give na exact address they said the feeders were on the front of the house and as the original message stated the house is just east of the JH Home on the back road.Good BirdingTim
