[Birdnet] Mandarin Duck at Mick Riley Golf Course

I know this is a little belated to report, but I saw a Mandarin Duck sitting
on the bank of a pond at Mick Riley Golf Course, near Murray Park last
wednesday while I was doing Canada goose surveys.  At first glance I thought
was that it was a wood duck, because it was so colorful, but when I pulled
out the binos it was all wrong for a wood duck, and had the white face and
the other markings just like a Mandarin. I was wondering if this was a bird
I should report on my bird list, or if it is most likely an escapee from an
aviary or zoo or something.
