HI
I will be attending a conference in Salt Lake City Feb.10 to
12 and will be birding the 7,8, 9. I was wondering if any field trips
were scheduled for the 9th and also would like advice.
I am planning to bird in and around SLC and would appreciate
good sites to visit this time of year. I also plan to head to the
Bear Lake area in Idaho so that I can add a new state to my birding
list. I also wondered about the Flaming Gorge area and whether this
was too far to go.
Birds I would like to see but I realize are probably LONG SHOTS:
White-Tailed Ptarmigan
  Brown-capped or Black Rosy Finch
any other rarities
Otherwise I will just be out to see all of the birds that are out there!

Please also advise about driving in the area-- in particular
mountainous or state forest areas.
	Thanks in advance!
