I birded with alongside Stephen for some of the time this morning so my list is similar (though I missed the Bald Eagle feasting on shovelers- darn).??Luckily Stephen got on the Ruff first and saved me a lot of time.
Just have one addition.? I had a Western Sandpiper side by side with two Least Sandpipers.? I'd been looking for an opportunity to study both together for a long time.?

Subject: [Birdnet] Antelope Island Causeway and the Ruff - Still There
Haven't posted for awhile.? Life is busy.? I was finally able to visit Antelope Island Causeway (AIC) this morning (30 Dec) to look for the Ruff.? Found it at 10:30 a.m.,?between mile marker 4 and 3 on the north side.? Was able to observe the bird for about 15 minutes as it was just warming up and stretching before joining the feeding Killdeer around it.? Paul's pictures really?helped.? On the way back at about 12:15 p.m. found it (or a different bird?) again,?feeding by the rock "jetty" between mile marker 2 and 3, north side.? After 15 mintues I left, but the bird was still there.? Thanks to all for the continued posts.? Some of us have to rearrange our schedules before we can chase the birds.? The continued posts give me hope that I am not to late.? Following is the total list, 18 species seen.
?
Northern Shoveler - 100's
Green-winged Teal - 12+
Common Goldeneye - 50+ (at the west bridge)
Barrow's Golden - 1 (lone female at the bridge)

Rock Wren - 1 (Visitors Center)

?
Thanks,
?
Stephen
