We are frozen up and snowed over.  Good thing we did the CBC when we did.
You'd never know from the numbers below how awesome we did on our CBC - but
don't tell Jay.  The following birds were seen within the survey route:

Canada geese    340
Mallard   3
Common merganser   4
Great blue heron   1
Great horned owl   1
Northern harrier   1
Red-tailed hawk    5
Rough-legged hawk   1
Bald eagle   5
American kestrel   3
