[Birdnet] Antelope Island/Farmington Bay

Birded AIC and AI and FB with friend Sue from New Mexico today. Causeway was kind of slow, although we saw a couple of Willets. On the island our best sighting was of 3 Short-eared Owls in the trees at the springs pull-off on the west side of the road just before you get to Garr Ranch. Two Great Horned Owls at the ranch and a Say's Phoebe and Yellow-rumped warblers.
At FB best sighting was of the Cackling Goose (minima) first seen late last month. The goose was in the pond at the very west end of Glover Lane, swimming with the ducks and a few Canada Geese. I would have thought it would have been halfway to Alaska by now. Also, Tree, Rough-winged, and Barn Swallows at FB.
