My wife and I just spent three very pleasant days camping (trailering
acually) at Wasatch State Park near Midway. The area was rather birdy. The
campground host's feeders near our site certainly added to the avian traffic. Species
seen included:
    Mallard
    Ruffed Grouse
Eurasian Collared Dove (sitting on top of the visitors center)
    Broad-tailed Hummingbird
    Northern Flicker
    Plumbeous Vireo
    Stellar's Jay
    Western Scrub Jay
    Black-billed Magpie
    Cliff Swallow
    Barn Swallow
    Black-capped Chickadee
    White-breasted Nuthatch
    American Robin (everywhere)
Cedar Waxwing (mornings and evenings a flock surveying the scene from a
dead tree high above
                   the camp ground)
    Yellow-rumped Warbler (numerous)
Spotted Towhee (plentiful, four in one binocular view)
    White-crowned Sparrow
    Cassin's Finch
    House Finch

Enjoy fall and good birding! Hugh Gillilan
