This evening (09/15) I joined the Sommerfeld's at Weston Smith's home in Croydon
(Morgan County). The Sommerfeld's had gotten a brief look at the
GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW about an hour before I arrived. On several occasions
the White-crowned Sparrow's the bird had been hanging around with flew in to
the area we were watching and at one point I got on a bird that I thought was
the sparrow but in the shadows I just wasn't sure, so it looks like another
trip will be necessary.
The WHITE-WINGED DOVE made a couple of appearances as well, and was one ratty
looking bird, but still a nice treat up north.

A Eurasian Collared-Dove was also hanging around. If interested in seeing
either of these birds please contact Weston in advance:
>>The sparrow was still here yesterday. I do not get on the computer to check
>>my e-mails everyday so anyone wishing to come try and see this bird can call
>>me at (801) 829-4183 or cell (801) 829-8689. Also the White-winged dove is
>>still coming.
>>Thanks
