Pretty exciting home weekend.we had a black-throated gray warbler, a yellow
warbler, western tanagers, Says phoebe, an Osprey, a sharp-shinned hawk, and
even a Solitary sandpiper, identified by his dark bill, greenish legs, white
eye ring, and generally gawky appearance.  The sandpiper was on the pond
below us for at least 15 minutes before a bunch of Brewers blackbird rowdies
came in and ran it off.
