Birding today in Washington The weather was perfect ( it had to be 85+ at Lytle Ranch ) and there were a few good birds to be seen. I got to Lytle first thing this morning and was there until 2:30. A lot of Sparrows were around a Sooty type Fox was the only unusual one. Plenty of Yellow rumps, Kinglets and RN Sapsuckers were also there. Probably the best bird I saw was a Black and White Warbler along the creek west of the main gate.
On the way home I stopped at a couple spots along the Santa Clara river and below Gunlock Res. there was a Red-shouldered Hawk.
