Total waterfowl about 63,000.  The long-term average for this week in
October is 225,000.  Total shorebirds around 1000.  Long-term average about
4300.  All waterfowl numbers below average.  Notable numbers only for
long-billed curlew.    The Bear River continues to run far below normal.
Unit fill continues slowly.  Not enough water yet to begin adding to the
units with airboat accessibility.

The following birds were noted in the Units around the tour loop.
