As Mark noted, our first brief view of the ST Sandpiper was this morning,
about 10 a.m. , before getting the nice looks this afternoon. Also, as
we were leaving, a flock of 17 Pectoral Sandpipers landed near the
bridge. Besides being wonderfully close, they were easily the largest
group of Pectorals we've ever seen at one time.
>From the Causeway we headed south to Clegg's Pond in Orem, and saw the
still present Red-necked Grebe (~ 5 p.m.).
