[Birdnet] Activities for Young Birders?

Hi, just joined birdnet, and have enjoyed reading everyone's reports.  Wish
I had joined sooner (-:

I'm curious about any Utah clubs or activities for young birders.  My 9-yr
old son is an avid birder.  We do a lot of birding throughout the year
together, but he knows no other kids around his age with the same level of
interest, and thus, gets shy about talking about his hobby outside his own
family.  If he could connect periodically with kids that share 'the bug', I
think it'd be a boost for him (and hopefully, reciprocal to others).

If anyone has information or ideas on this, please contact me.
