[Birdnet] Unusual Backyard Year

I've had a couple of unusual incidents at my feeders in Sandy this year that
I thought might interest birdnet readers.
I've been keeping records of visitors to my feeders since Jan. of 1997. In
seven of those 11 years, White-Crowned Sparrows have showed up in April or May
for a few days, but in no other months. This year, they were a no-show in the
spring. However, 2 adults and a juvenile came in yesterday.
Also, the Black-Headed Grosbeaks that usually visit in July and August came
in June this year.
Granted, I'm not watching all the time, but I think I catch most of the
unusual visitors.
