Subject: [IBLE] Yellow-billed Loon

Having heard of two recent sightings of the Lake Pend O'Reille Yellow-billed
Loon first found by Earl Chapin I decided to make a run up there this
morning. I found the YELLOW-BILLED LOON south of Hawkin's Point Boat Launch
(which is 5.4 miles out on Sunnyside Road.) The bird was fairly close to
shore, but spent most of its time under water.

Earl first found the bird there Dec 28, but most attempts to relocate it
since then have failed. But at least in the past few days the bird seems to
be reliable......
