[Birdnet] Scaled Quail

Whoopeeee, Ha, Ha, Haaaa.!!! 
 
The only thing that somewhat eases the craziness of traveling 300+ miles to  
chase a bird is finding it. That and the fact that others do it too. 
 
Thanks to Bob McDougal for spotting one sneaking away from us about 100  
yards from the end of the road. McDougal saw it first, then I got on it.  
Huntington didn't see it, so we hurried over to a little ridge and all three of  us 
got to watch them milling around for a couple of minutes. I think they were  
waiting to group up. As soon as all three of them were together they disappeared  
into the thick sagebrush. They seemed very wary of people. Life bird for all  
three of us.
 
Thanks to Justin for finding the birds and to Dennis for posting it. 
 
Other highlights were a couple of White-throated Sparrows at Jim Hook's  
feeders in Bluff (me). An Acorn Woodpecker and Pygmy Nuthatches in Monticello  for 
the three of us.
