[Birdnet] No Western and Glaucous Gull :(

Colby Neuman, Dave Slager and I headed out to Lee Kay around 1:30 this
afternoon and were dismayed at the lack of gulls. There may have only been
around 200 present and none of the great gulls that have been seen were
there... A day late and a dollar short! Oh well.
Of interest was a bird that Dave spotted on the compost heap. It appeared
to be a Ring-billed Gull, but the right primaries appeared to be solid
white. The rest of the wing appeared normal and the left wing was normal.
The bird had a rather dusky head, orange-yellow legs and what appeared to be
a darker bill. It was an adult which made this all the more strange...
Good Birding
Tim
