Pretty quiet here.  The river is almost now totally frozen over.  The
following birds were seen within the survey route:

Canada geese    1,100
Common merganser   1
Great blue heron   1
Bald eagle   6
Red-tailed hawk   12
American kestrel   1
Northern harrier   4
