[Birdnet] Eurasian Collared Doves?

During the last year, since I learned that
Eurasian Collard doves were introduced
into the usa and are expanding their range
into Utah, I have studied every dove I
saw, and that is many thousands of doves.
I only identified Eurasians on two days.

Mourning doves (mostly) leave Northern Utah
in the fall, but Eurasian Collard doves tend to
be resident, so this winter I paid particular
attention to any bird that looked remotely
like a dove. Finally about a month ago,
I saw a dove in Randolf Utah,
and I asked the driver to turn around and
go back, and sure enough, there was a flock
of doves in an old growth cottonwood tree,
and they were collared.

The same day I saw another flock in
Evanston Wyoming which is about 25 miles
away, again in old growth cottonwoods.

A week later I saw the doves again in
the same tree in Randolf. Both sites are in town.
Each flock was around 20 birds.

Regards,
Joseph
