[Birdnet] Eurasian Collared Doves?

Are Eurasian Collared Doves common in Utah County?  On Monday 19 Feb.
while on a hawk watching trip with ornithology students we saw several
what appeared to be Eurasian Collared Doves near Lake Shore along SR 147
and vicinity.  Does this sound reasonable?  They were relatively common
around dwellings.  They were not Pigeons!  I notice that the species has
been reported in various location statewide.  In this location there
were numerous individuals.  What else could they be??
