Today, Jeff Bilsky and I birded around Cache Valley looking, unsuccesfully for the Eastern Bluebird previously reported. We traveled around the area and spent time at where the initial sighting happened. I would guess there were over 1000 Waxwings in the area moving around constantly, about 90% were Bohemian. Around 10 CASSIN'S FINCH were in the trees at 1700 North and 1410 East, along with numerous PINE SISKIN.
At Second Dam at the mouth of Logan Canyon, were around 25 BARROW'S GOLDENEYE.
We visited Lee Kay Ponds and found 1 adult LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL, 3 THAYER'S GULL (including a neat looking 2nd winter bird), and the 3rd winter SLATY-BACKED/WESTERN GULL. I've added more pics of that bird here:

And some shots of other birds: http://www.timaverybirding.com/photos/thumbnails.php?album=495
I will likely be out at Lee Kay again tomorrow studying this gull some more (I am still leaning towards Slaty-backed at this point).
Good Birding
