Well, I looked for two days in the Farmington area for the Gyrfalcon but no luck. However, There are lots of Harlan's (my favorite) from Farmington to North Salt Lake, west of the industrial areas. There are several along I-15 as well, with a light morph with a pure white tail further north approaching the Cache Valley exit (sitting on a car ad-sign). This has been the best winter so far for Harlan's in a long while. A few dark birds are in the Farmington refuge with one sitting with the eagles in the trees along the drive. A few in the Cache Valley as well and one in Tooele Valley (adult light). Attached is one from North Salt Lake near the airport area.
