I spent a good chunk of the day at Garr Ranch (10:00am - 2:00pm) photographing
the hummers and looking for migrants. By far the best variety of migrants at
the ranch this fall. There weren't a huge number of birds, but the variety was
striking.

After about an hour and a half birding I stumbled upon a BLUE-HEADED VIREO near
the same location as mentioned by Merrill Webb and Glenn Barlow on Saturday.
Not sure if it is the same bird, but location seems to fit:

I followed the bird for a couple minutes, and only saw it once more about an
hour later in the same area. The only other Vireo present was a CASSIN'S VIREO
in the tree to the southeast of the pond.

The other interesting bird was this empid, which looks like a 1st year LEAST
FLYCATCHER. Any thoughts?

There were a lot of Empids, including all 4 of Utah's common Empids as well as a
Willow Flycatcher near the fence at the spring.

1 Willow Flycatcher
3 Gray Flycatcher
1 Cordilleran Flycatcher
2 Dusky Flycatcher
2 Hammond's FLycatcher
1 possible Least Flycatcher

Good Birding
