[Birdnet] Stand-Off

I had never heard a White-faced Ibis "say" anything until today. I 
witnessed an interesting confrontation between an ibis and an avocet at 
Farmington Bay. The avocet and ibis sat there in the pond and stared 
each other down for quite a while. Then the avocet started to approach 
the ibis and got quite close. They had a number of squabbles over the 
next 15 minutes or so with the avocet finally driving the ibis off. 
There were avocet chicks around, and I think that bird was protecting 
its turf so that the young could feed. Who said you had to be bigger to 
win?
