[Birdnet] Krider's vs. Harlan's

I just wanted to note that the bird Ryan O'Donnell posted is an adult light 
Harlan's, which raises a tough ID issue. It can be extremely difficult to 
tell krider's from harlan's....especially juveniles. In fact, it is 
impossible to tell the race of some light juveniles. Harlan's are much more 
common than krider's in Utah, but that doesn't mean the krider's reported in 
Utah are not genuine. Just a note that the two can be very similar and that 
ID's are not always "cut and dry". Another issue is that most krider's are 
not fully white-headed and almost completely unmarked underneath....many 
show a mix of traits typical to true Westerns or Easterns. Also, juvenile 
Red-tails in spring can be pale headed due to extensive fading.
