Birding yesterday morning at Lytle there were good numbers of migrants moving through.A lot of Zonotrichia Sparrows.1 White-throated1 Harris's Tons of White-crownedI tried very hard for the Golden-crowned for all 4 but couldn't find one.3 Vireo'sBellsGrayCassin'sNew Flycatcher's for the yearAsh-throatedGraySeveral Yellow Warblers were there singing ( the only new warbler I saw ) a couple Green-tailed Towhee's and quite a few Brewer's and Chipping Sparrows were around. A pair of Blue-winged Teal were on the pond with several Cinnamon. The females seem much easier to tell apart when the males are present.Oh and it felt like Summer. When I left just after 12:00 It had to be close to 90 degrees !!Larry Tripp
