Hi,

I did not post this Sunday, but now wish I had. I saw a sandpiper on the
north side by itself and I stopped to make sure it was a Baird's for my year
list. I was studying the tail / wing relationship when it flew and revealed the
white rump. I checked Sibley shortly afterward and realized just how gray it
was. I called Bob Huntington and he came up and we looked for several hours
for it. There are so many peeps there I thought it would be impossible. We told
the Beyers about it and they failed to find it either.

I went back this morning to see if I could find it for a picture. No luck,
but I ran into Bob Huntington and Bob McDougal and they had found it. It is so
gray it should be possible to find.
