John Bellmon, Bonnie Williams and I saw the Worm-eating Warbler at
about 9:45 am. Hopefully everyone that was there when we left got to
see it also. Thanks, Kris, for the great directions and for showing
us the Western Screech Owl.
Bonnie and I went to Antelope Causeway in search of the scoters and
Long-tailed Duck. Bonnie found a White-winged Scoter and the
Long-tailed Duck. They were near the 1 mile marker. We saw a Surf
Scoter and a White-winged Scoter at the bridge near the island. Since
the first WW Scoter had disappeared while I was photographing the LT
Duck, I thought it was the same one. On the way back, we saw it again
near the mile marker, so there are 2 WW Scoters.
Wish I had pictures to share, but none of them turned out that great.
