A total of 215,000 total ducks which is about 50,000 above the long-term

long-term average for this time of year though similar to last year. New
arrivals include Bald Eagles, Rough-legged Hawk, Lesser Scaup, Common
Goldeneye, Red-breasted and Common Merganser. Still a late snowy egret
hanging around. About 20% of birds counted were visible from the tour
