I made a trip to the Bear River Bird Refuge
about noon today, and took the auto tour route.
I've attached a count below.

For the last couple of weeks,
the great egrets have been in a field north
of the road 3.2 miles west of the visitor's
center. (Sometimes close to the road,
and sometimes on the far end of the field,
and once in a while in the water at 3.8 miles.)
Wilson's phalaropes have been in that same water,
or in the mudflats just before the start of the
auto tour loop. There are usually long billed
curlews in the grass between 4 and 9 miles from
the visitor's center.
