[Birdnet] Birdnet?

On 7/8 I reported my second out of 3 seasons Swainson's hawk nesting. Did I
use the proper protocol and does everyone on Birdnet get copied? If not
tell me how, but if I am reaching all birders I need help.

Yesterday after 2 mo and 20 days of videotaping I was ejected from this (so
they say) US govt property as a trespasser. The timing could not have been
worse since the 3 chicks were in the process of vacating the nest and tree.
After last taping all 3 chicks together on 7/17 I had already lost sight and
track of the first to fly and the second flew to another tree at 9pm last
night. Because of my ejection I did not witness this flight. From the vantage
of a mere 30 feet I had been forced to move to the east side of I-215 and shoot
into the setting sun with max zoom.

This led me to drastic measures. I went S onto I-215 at 7th N, entered the
emergency pullout nearest the nest, and camcorder in hand walked the final 300
feet. In the 5 to 10 min lost getting here both chicks had left the canopy
top and the only one I could find was in aforementioned tree 50 feet away.
Naturally, I was being thoroly harrassed by dive bombing parents the whole
time.

If anyone knows or has any pull with upper management
at L3 Communications I need help. Even an email address to someone high up
on the inside could help. Or better yet maybe someone already employed there
is a "birder".

Thanks and I'm off for another "Emergency" stop on I-215.
With my luck UHP will be the next to roust me.
