Winter is definitely here.  We've even accumulated some snow.  Not much for
wetland birds but the raptors are plenty and a good mix.  The following
birds were seen within the survey route:

Canada geese    1,899
Mallard   1
Great blue heron   3
Bald eagle   5
Red-tailed hawk   7
Rough-legged hawk   1
American kestrel   2
Northern harrier   4
Prairie falcon   1
Great horned owl   1
