[Birdnet] Northern Cardinals

[Ned Hill]

The three pairs of Northern Cardinals were actually introduced by a
couple who had retired from a company in Oklahoma.  They missed seeing
the beautiful red birds so they captured the pairs and brought them to
their home in north Provo.  The released birds did not stay in their
yard as hoped but seemed to congregade around the area above University
Avenue just south of Riverwoods.  They were seen for a few years and
some birders even reported juveniles.  I have not seen them nor heard of
others seeing them for the past several years.
